Our Jeeps have been broken into many times, and never at Viejas so not sure why this is now a new 'thing' but it is California, so idiocy usually prevails before common sense. I can understand if we weren't guests, but the parking attendant and the Manager treated us like 2nd class citizens, so not a fan of this new, idiotic rule. Yes, it's a Jeep, it's always been open, and we have never had any issues until this past weekend so apparently they made up some ridiculous new rule, which forced us to find parking on the roof of the Hotels parking structure which is really ridiculous, considering what we paying Guests at the Hotel itself. First time in three years, the Valet refused to park our vehicle stating that it was an 'Open vehicle'.
We both own old creaky Jeeps (mine is a classic) and we have always had them parked with the Valet since we usually stay one or two nights at the Hotel. My boyfriend (Marine Vet) and I been going to Viejas for 3 years now, and it's always been an excellent experience, except for my recent visit.
